Love you cuz. It is hard to believe you are gone. You were such a fun person to be around. We had such good laughs together. And life is so funny, how I found out that your mother was my Father In Law aunt. And all those years Greg and I visited at aunt Harfords and WE didn't know you and Greg were cousin's. Lol. So glad we spent time together. And glad you finally made it to Virginia. REST IN HEAVEN CUZ. You will be missed

Wow cuzz this really knocked the wind out of me. The last time we spoke I said that we would do lunch the next time that I was on vacation so we could catch up and it was that Wednesday that I was going to call you when I got the news. I going to miss your calls on holidays checking to see how me and cookie have been doing. Although we didn’t see each other as much since my mom passed you always called around the holidays and through out the summer and I really appreciated that. Rest easy cuzzo I’m really gonna miss you and if there’s an Elks lodge in heaven I know you, Minnie, Donald, Saul, Joe and my mom(Harford) will be partying!!

P.s…give my mom a kiss for me and I’ll see y’all when I get there!!

Cake,

I remember all the wonderful times we had growing up, the family reunions, the parties, and other get-togethers. You were always happy with a smile on your face. Through good times and bad times, I've never seen you in a sour mood or angry. You lived life at a steady state of mind.

Well, your journey is over now. But you'll still remain a presence because you touched so many lives while you were with us. I'll miss you so much.

Cousin Rob

Dear Family and Friends of Calvin:

I was saddened to learn of the death of Calvin on November 15 2017. Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. May I share with you some promises in the Bible that bring comfort at this time of loss?

First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life, in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)

It is a comfort and softens our feelings toward our Creator, Jehovah God, to learn that it is Satan who causes imperfection, aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death -- not God (Hebrews 2:14).

The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a PEACEFUL, global paradise. One day Calvin will be resurrected to enjoy it, and so will countless others. Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Calvin, sleep, Rest In Peace.

May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young (Job 33:24-25) and totally healthy (Isaiah 33:24) Calvin!

With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Cake you will be truly missed. I will miss that smile that you always had. May God be with your children and grandchildren but if they keep their hands in God's hand he will give them strength at this difficult time. May God be with you now and forever

Please except my condolences on the passing of your loved one, I hope that your family have been able to find comfort in the God of all comfort Jehovah. I too have felt the pain of a loved one falling asleep in death , and although it is never easy to say goodbye to those we love, I was able to find hope in Gods word the bible. John 5:28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out... Revelation 21:4 And I will wipe out every tear from his eyes an death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, The former things have passed away. 1Corinthians 15:55 "Death where is your victory? "Death where is your sting?... I invite your family to please go to jw.org where you can find out more about Gods purpose for mankind and how you can see Calvin again in a paradise right here on earth, just like the one Adam and Eve lost due to their disobedience and selfishness.
