Anton I. Sellers

November 5, 1972 ~ January 19, 2017 (age 44) 44 Years Old

ANTON I. TONY SELLERS SR. was born on November 5, 1972 to the late Denise Morgan Battle an Irva Junior Sellers. Tony, as we all know him, departed this life on January 19, 2017.

Tony was Baptized at an early age, at St. Joseph Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Austin Barnes. He served on the Usher Board and sang on the Youth Choir. Tony attended Baltimore City Public Schools. During those years in school, Tony showed his passion for boxing, cooking and his family. Tony boxed and trained several years with the Mac Lewis Gym. Tony was family oriented. He decided to involve many of his family members in boxing and would train them several days throughout the week(s). He was known for his Heavy Fist and Big Heart. Tony also worked at several different restaurants throughout Baltimore as a cook and he loved to cook at home as well.

Tony was genuine. He never hesitated to help anyone with anything and he'd do it with a smile. He was, indeed a Blessing to everyone who came in his path, especially to his siblings, whom he helped care for in the early years of his life.

Tony loved all his children and always wished that he could have had more time with each one of them. He couldn't wait to come home so that he could be the "Best" grandfather he knew he could be.

Tony knew life was a mystery, but he also knew that all things were possible, if you put GOD and family first. He leaves a legacy.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother: Denise Morgan Battle; grandparents, George and Ethel Morgan; uncle, Maurice Morgan; and a special cousin, Ebonee Baker.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory: his stepfather, Ronald Battle; one sister; Deonna Perry; two brothers, Michael Perry Jr. and Marcus Faulk; three sons, Domonique Mille(Jasmine), Anton Sellers Jr. and Anthony Sellers; five grandchildren, Domonique, Sidney, Nayque, Kiahna and Kendall; one aunt, Helen Morgan; three uncles, George Morgan, Sunni Rahman and Ron Morgan (Tanya); three nephews, Donnell, Khalil and Kaiden; one niece, Corei; one godbrother, Shawn Reid; godmother, Rozena Williams; special friends, Larry Gant and Derrick Brown; the mothers of his children, Barbara Miller and Yolanda Phair and a host of other family members and friends.
