Baltimores Vernelson Ray Brinkley was born on July 7, 1939 to the late Jessie and William Brinkley.
Vance as known by many, Van for short, received his education from Dunbar high school, before starting a long fulfilling life, dedicating 40 years to the trash company.
Van known for his love of money and cars, being fun loving also enjoyed fishing, hunting and smiling, most of all spending time with his family. This family man worked very hard to provide for his family and helped others do so too. Van being a Very ambitious and stand up man Married twice in his life time. First marriage Vernelson Jr. was born, he then father Vanchelle Burns before marrying Margret Weaver, from there union Vernetta Ann Brinkley was born, Van Gained another son Bruce weaver.
Van owned a Car wash on E. Wolfe St. uplifting many from the community by giving them a way to provide for themselves by washing cars.
Mr.Vance is survived by, three children, Vernelson Jr, Vernetta Brinkley, Vanchelle Burns and stepson Bruce Weaver. He also had 7 grandkids Vance, Vernon, Netta, Regine, Earl, and Aaron, a host of nieces and nephews, also one great-grandson Rhiver.
Mr.Vance had three brothers William, Bernard and Reginald. Two sisters Marion and Marva.
