TRACEY JOHNSON was born July 26, 1965, in Baltimore, MD. to her parents, Dorothy Johnson and Allen Singletary. She was the fourth born child to Dorothy and the second to Allen. Spending most of her life in Baltimore, she received an education in the Baltimore City Public School System and later entered the workforce.
Tracey was a dedicated employee. She was passionate about ensuring that the job got done. She worked for City hall for several years, later becoming a supervisor and overseeing custodial staff during her tenure.
Tracey was a no-nonsense person, but she was vey loving and compassionate to her family and friends. Anyone she would encounter would learn about her children, granddaughter, or sometimes both. In 1980, Tracey gave birth to her first daughter, Bernice Harris. Years later, in 1987, she gave birth to her second daughter, Shawna Jones. If you knew and loved Tracey, you also loved her children. But her heart outside her chest is her only granddaughter, Kendell Dinkins. She would often refer to Kendell as her everything. She loved her with every fiber within her. Tracey lived every moment for her family and would do anything for them.
On May 31st, 2022, Tracey transitioned to eternal glory. She will be forever loved and missed tremendously.
Tracey is survived by her parents, Dorothy Johnson and Allen Singletary of Baltimore, MD; husband, Anthony Moore; children, Bernice Harris, Shawna Miller (son-in-law Darrick Miller Jr.); granddaughter, Kendell Dinkins; stepchildren, Crystal Franklin, Jarrod Moore and Shawda Pringle; siblings, Gary Johnson, Kim Hall, Anthony Johnson, Shawn Purvis and Wanda Singletary of Baltimore, MD., and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
