Tracey E. Allen was born on July 20, 1963, to the late Matthew D. Allen, Sr. and the late Shirley E. Holmes-Bey. Grandparents preceded her in death, Paul Holmes and Anna Holmes. She departed this life peacefully, with her angel wings on March 11, 2022.

Tracey fondly called “Tray or Tray-Tray" by her family and friends. She was born in raised in Baltimore Maryland. She also attended Baltimore City Public Schools.

She grew up with 8 siblings, who she loved and they loved her dearly. She worked as a cook for the Baltimore City Jail and the Baltimore City Public School System. She also enjoyed working as an aide for special needs children. Tray became the mother of 6 children. She graciously enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant the world to her. Family was very important to her. She was a very over protective person. She was a true fighter. Tracey knocked a man out like a boxer who was going to hurt her older brother. She wasn’t going to let anyone hurt her bother or any family member.
