Stanley Johnson, son of the late Rebecca and George Johnson, was born November 21, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on November 11, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Stanley is preceded in death by his sister Barbara and brother Steve.
He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. After completing his education, he became a truck driver for the Baltimore City Water Department.
He married the former Sharon Mack, and out of that union two children were born, Darren and Derrick Johnson. He also has a son from a previous marriage, Stanley Michael Johnson.
Stanley was a story teller. He loved to tell stories about shining shoes and selling papers as a youth. He was proud to attend the March on Washington. He and his father bound books together, and he displayed them proudly. His love of music was known to all. He owned an extensive collection of music left to him by his late brother, Steve Johnson. He was always happy in his basement dancing to his music. Stanley made numerous friends wherever he went, and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Sharon Mack Johnson, three sons, Stanley, Darren and Derrick, his brother Danny Johnson (Valerie), brother Glen (Barbara), nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
