Shawnna D. Spann

SHAWNNA DENISE SPANN, lovingly known as "Poo-Poo", was born November 17, 1991 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Maryland to the late Gerard Spann Sr. and Shawnterri Denise Williamson. Shawnna grew up on the East side of Baltimore, where she attended and graduated from Mervo High School in 2009. Her grind did not stop there, she attended and graduated from B.C.C.C. and received an Associates Degree in Accounting in 2015.

Shawnna was a beloved daughter, girlfriend, sister, cousin, granddaughter, aunt, niece and friend. She had the most beautiful smile that would light up a room. Shawnna was not a dancer, she had no rhythm but she would dance and loved listening to music. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also introspective and very analytical. Shawnna was not a push over; was loyal and passionate about what she believed in.

Shawnna was loved by many and leaves to mourn: her very first best friend, her mother, Shawnterri Williamson; two brothers, Gerard Spann Jr. (Rizzy), her Roll dog and her twin Rakeem Spann; two sisters, Rakia and GeKiara Spann; two special uncles that took the father figure role in her life, Edward Ravenell Jr. and Robert Jaeson; two grandmothers, Patricia Spann-Thomas and her maternal grandmother, Sandra Williamson, that she affectionately called" Lil Momma", three aunts, Michelle Spann, Mona Thorton and Vernadette Rogers; she had two male cousins that she grew up with and were more like brothers to her, Raymond Marks (Monsta) and Twan Rogers(Twiz); a niece she loved dearly, McKinley Spann. Shawnna had a big host of family, friends and close friend  she shared a bond with. Shawnna also had a loving, devoted and loyal girlfriend, Ganesha Ralph "Nee Nee", Shawnna had special friends close to her, Mooka, Killa, Fry, Rye, Mick and a host of people that loved her.
