Rovester Glass

ROVESTER GLASS was born on April 21, 1938 to the late Harold and Elma Glass in Leasburg, North Carolina.

Rovester devoted 38 years of his life as a worker at Fence Masters in Rosedale, Maryland. Rovester was a hard dedicated man that loved working with his hands. He was very uplifting to his peers. He retired in 2000.

He enjoyed his time going to the casino, watching the Orioles and Ravens play and fishing. He lived in North Carolina before moving to Maryland in 1959. Rovester cherished every moment with his family. He was a loving person that gave all to his family. If he had it, he would not hesitate to give. He was a combination of a parent, teacher, therapist and friend. Rovester touched so many hearts throughout his lifetime. He was a ball of love, joy and laughter. Rovester truly lived life to the fullest.

A husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Rovester was very blessed with a loving family. He will be missed by his loved ones. He gained his wings on September 21, 2022 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vanesie Glass-Sheppard; his son, Karl Hunter; two brothers, W.C.Glass and Lewis Glass; three sisters, Annlee Glass, Dolly Glass (Jones) and Evelyn Johnson.

He leaves to cherish the memories; his wife, WillieMae Glass; his daughters, Lisa Glass, Ann Glass, Danyell Hicks, and Angel Glass; his sons, Harold Glass and John Glass; grandchildren, Shanquetta (Odell), Raevius, Marquis (Rasheedah), Marcus, Keisha, Zakita, Allen, Briana, Travis, Aaryn, Imani, Ariana and Amiyah; three sisters, Betty Johnson, Dorothy Westmoreland and Ethel McNair; sister-in-law, Diane Roane and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
