Robin Elliott Obituary

Robin Deneen Elliott, passed away peacefully at home around family and friends, on June 11, 2021, due to her lengthy battle with lung cancer. Neicy was born September 22, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland to Willie and Mamie Mae Elliott.

Neicy received her education in the Baltimore City School system.

She worked doing various jobs such as home improvement, construction, hanging sheetrock, framing floors and so much more.

As a child growing up in Baltimore, Neicy saw, heard and tried many things. She loved spending time with the family. She loved dancing, singing, and voicing her opinion (Strongly). All in all, she would make her way back home to 1219 Caroline Street. Neicy had an I can do it attitude, some may have taken it to be rude, but to others it was another teaching moment.

Neicy made it seem like nothing was too hard for her. She loved helping and assisting the elderly with choirs, cooking, and just keeping them company. It was something about Neicy that children, animals, family, and friends knew not to go there with her. She had an I can, I will, and I ain’t kind of spirit. Most of all she had a “Stand Tall Attitude”. I said it, I meant it and I am going to represent it. BY ALL MEANS STANDING BY IT!!!! Let us not forget the level of protection she had for her grandchildren. All you had to do is say something to her grandchildren and she would give you that look, and it was on and popping! We all witnessed that! Neicy walked a plenty of roads for the family but did not want the family to take the same road. Niecy LOVED HARD, Stood Tall and fought hard. She prepared herself for the next level of this long road. Neicy knew God would be calling her home. After fighting and STANDING TALL as long as she could, then the Lord called her home.

She leaves to cherish these memories daughter, Shanelle L. Harrington, (Ike) son – in- law; Son, Anthony Harrington, (Takia) daughter – in – law; grandchildren, Anasia Moe Harrington, Symari Russell, Jayden Carter and Allure Rae Page; step grandsons, Kamari and Tyrone; sisters, Betty Chew (Charles) from Norfolk, VA, Renea Munford, (Greg) from Hope mills, NC, Monica Conigland (Nathan) from Baltimore, MD; god sisters, Darlene and Renee; stepsister, Sheri Hart; brothers, Willie M. Elliott, Jr. (Peaches), from Norfolk, VA, John R. Elliott, (Janet), Angelo J. Elliott, Sr. Dwayne E. Elliott, Sr. step brothers, Charles Hart, (Joyce) from Fayetteville, NC, Tony Hart, (Sandra), Cory Williams, (Margie); a very special godmother Beulah Mae Harris, (Anus) from Fayetteville, NC; Goddaughter Adrian Jones b.k.a Pie and Mookie, Neicy’s devoted friend; aunts, Lillie Eden Jones from Silver Springs, MD. Ida Pearl Bell from Bunnlevel, NC. Georgianna Williams, (Claude) from Linden, NC; uncles John Westley Elliott, from Bunnlevel, NC.
