Phillippa Williams-Towns Obituary

Phillippa Juana Williams Towns, was born on March 17,1965 to Willinette Williams and the late Phillip Williams Sr. She was a true fighter who fought her illness with everything she had until the very end. On May 26, 2022, God called her home.

Phillippa received her education from the Baltimore City Public School system. She received her high school diploma from Southern High School in Baltimore city. Phillippa worked at John Hopkins hospital for 18 years in the Children’s Emergency Department. Phillippa was hired as a Patient Service Coordinator, but she wore many hats, she was a Social Worker, Caretaker, Doctor, and Counselor.

On July 28, 2001 she married the love of her life Richard Towns. Phillippa was affectionately known to her family and friends as her nickname Flip. She was a very loving and caring person. Flip loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. In the midst of her storm she kept her faith and called upon the Lord. Phillippa was a member at New Antioch Baptist Church.

She had so many different hobbies. She loved sports, bowling, skating, playing the lottery, family gatherings and shopping. She enjoyed visiting her old neighborhood Barclay Street. Music was her passion, she loved to sing, especially oldies but goodies.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother Willinette Williams; her husband Richard Towns; one daughter Chamia; one son Tevin; one son in-law Alozie; five sisters Darlene, Marlene, Jermaine, Willinette and Sylvia (one sister preceded her in death) Charlene; three brothers; Phillip, Shaun, Phillip Jr.(four brothers preceded her in death, Charles, Tony, Juan and Ronn.); three grandchildren Makaiya, Brooke, and Milani; eight sisters in-law, LaJuan, Della, Monica, Ronnie, Monica, Missy, Pat and Tammy; ten brothers in-law, Raphael, Wynton, Anthony, Maurice, Kenny, Quinton, Billy, Jermaine, Steve and Bryant.
