Palestine Debbie Moore, daughter of the late Mildred and Hansberry Moore was born April 12, 1957. She departed this life on April 10, 2022 after a lengthy Illness.
She received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools and later attended Baltimore City Community College and earned several medical certifications.
She enjoyed working in the medical field for over 40 years, most recently employed by Johns Hopkins hospital until her health declined.
Affectionately known as “Debbie” or “Momma D”, she cherished her family and friends. She was a sweet and loving woman who loved to talk, make jokes, play cards, and never hesitated to tell you how she felt.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Herman, Wayne, Gus, and Benjamin Moore; sisters, Marlyn, Diane, and Sharon Moore.
She leaves to cherish her two children Levon Moody Jr. and Lakesha Chester (Pumpkin); one devoted sister, Mildred Moore; one brother, Hansberry Moore; the love of her life, Raymond McCullough; one daughter-in-law, (Danisha Moody); two sisters-in-law, Joanne and Sonya Moore; nine grandchildren, Kishera, Tyla, Kayla, Ariyana, Zi’yah, Kameron, Jahvon, Skyla, and Zayah; two great grandchildren, Paige and Kaimir; one goddaughter, Britney; one god son Kyle; three close friends, Terron, Sonia, and Poodie; a host of nieces, nephews, godsons, and friends.
