Michelle Elizabeth Brown was born on December 5th, 1968 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Earl Taylor and late Margaret Brown. With deepest sorrow Michelle departed this life unexpectedly on April 23, 2023.
Michelle received her education at Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and soon after moved to Baltimore, Maryland were she graduated from Coppin State College. There she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Shortly after she began working as a Director of Staffing for Progress Unlimited in Owings Mills for well over 20 years.
Michelle was such a devoted, loving and caring mother to her children as well as grandchildren. She shared a special bond with all her children, especially her eldest son Anthony that preceded her in death. Anthony always knew what to say and how to say it to get whatever he wanted out of his mother.
Affectionally known to her family and friends as “Boopie”, as well as the known family fighter. She would fight and fuss with all her siblings but please don’t let anyone else do it. Not a day went by where she didn’t mention the love she shares for her siblings and family. She was the kind of friend who always had a listening ear and offered advice for almost any problem you were facing. Everyone who knew her felt her big heart and giving nature. Michelle “Boopie” Brown from Uptown will truly be missed among her family and friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by her son Anthony Brown, along with her two brothers Randolph Brown and Bernard Taylor.
Michelle leaves to cherish her memories to her two children, daughter Donetta Brown; and son James Brown, her siblings; Ruth Bates, Charles Brown, Richard Brown, Patricia Brown, John Mobley, Debbie Johnson, Sharon Staff, Earl Brown, and Michael Brown, three beautiful grandchildren Xavier Brown, Kaiden Muhammud, and Bella Brown, a slew of nieces and nephews, a special friend Alphonso Smith Sr. She also leaves a host of other close relatives and friends.
