MICHAEL LAMONT SCOTT, son of the late Leonard Boydaniel Scott, Sr. and Carrie Myrtle Scott, was born on December 14, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland. Michael was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of July 22, 2020. The youngest of four siblings, he was preceded in death by his older brother Leonard, Jr.
Michael was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and attended Edmondson Senior High School. He excelled in Junior Varsity lacrosse and won numerous trophies and awards.
Michael was employed by the State of Maryland as a Landscaper and later worked at St. Joseph Medical Center, Ravenwood and Frederick Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers.
Michael had a great sense of humor and loved getting together with family and friends where he enjoyed laughing and joking. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football and basketball. He also loved playing the game of chess. He was very athletic and enjoyed biking around Baltimore City.
Affectionately, called "Scottie" by many of his friends, Michael will be remembered for his humble, kind spirit and laid-back personality. He was loved by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory; his devoted twin sisters, Sharon D. Queen and Sheila D. Thomas; three nephews, Jamaal D.Queen (Erica), Gavin Scott (Krystal) and Justin Queen; two nieces, Dena Scott and Ashley Scott; three great nieces, twins, Kaiyden and Kennedy and Shania and two great nephews Noah and Donte; four aunts, three uncles; an a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Michael will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
