Melvin Davon Lilly Sr.,Son of Mary C. Fitzgerald and Melvin T. Lilly was born on February 5, 1985 in Baltimore, MD. He departed his life on November 16, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
He received his education from Highlandtown middle and Patterson High School. He graduated from The Fathers and Sons program receiving his GED. His passion for cooking led him to become employed by Popeye’s for a few years. Later on he became a fulltime employee for Chessie Paddle Boat Company at the Inner Harbor where he worked for several years.
Melvin or “Melco” as we call him, was a funny, loving, and all around family guy. He loved fishing and whenever he had the free time would do so. He had a love for dirt bikes, cooking, and he loved his music! He loved people in general, and made friends wherever he went.
He leaves to mourn, his mother Mary C. Fitzgerald, his father Melvin T. Lilly, his only son Melvin D. Lilly Jr., his son’s mother Tykeisha McKoy, two brothers Dillon Brown, and Clinton Lilly, two sisters Maytrice Lilly, and Shyann Lilly, three nephews Jamari, Justin, and Naelon, his best friends Keith and Derek, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He precedes in death, his grandparents Mary A. Fitzgerald, Luby Fitzgerald, Molly Lilly and June Lilly, six uncles Freddie, Wayne, Steve, Felix, Ray Fitzgerald, and Ricky Lilly, three aunts Patricia Trice, Emma-Jean Fitzgerald, and Patricia Lilly, five cousins Pam, Dionne, Arthur Peacock III, Alyra, and Zi’ Azhja.
