Mary L. Cawthorn

God in his infinite wisdom sent his Angels of Mercy to gently call his servant Mary L. Cawthorn from her days of pain and suffering to enter His realm of eternal peace on Monday, January 16, 2023, after a lengthy illness. though this loss brings everyone great sorrow, it's a comfort to know she is free of pain.

Mary, affectionately called " Rainey" was born September 21, 1950, to Mary Edmond and Ferron Cawthorn.

Mary was educated in Baltimore Public School System.

Mary worked for Town and Country Apartments for 20 years. Then she moved on to Baltimore County Government, where she worked for the school system for 15 years until her retirement. But you know Rainy never really retired.

Mary was a calm spirited person that had a unique way of making people feel loved by her. Mary's journey on earth was filled with many bus trips, bingo, barbecues in the park and family gathering at her home. Mary will be missed by her family and friends.

One sister and three brothers proceeded her in death: Gary Cawthorn, Dale Cawthorn, Henrietta Edmonds and Tommie Cawthorn.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory: Three sons, Gregory Cawthorn (Yolanda) Troy Cawthorn (Yvette) John Cawthorn (Charlene); a loving sister Deborah Cawthorn- Burkle (David) Eric Cawthorn (Michelle); a special niece Pamela Edmonds; and a host of family and friends.
