Madeline L. Tone

Madeline “Mat” Louise Tone was born on January 29, 1943 in Bel Air, MD to the late William A. Greene and Marian M. Greene. She passed from this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Mat lived and loved life to the fullest, while battling and surviving cancer twice in this lifetime.

Mat worked at Citizens Nursing home for over 30 years until her retirement.

Mat loved going to bingo and the casino, but most of all she loved playing cards with her family and friends during the holidays.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband the late Albert Tone, her brothers Jimmy Greene, Johnny Greene, Charles Smith, Dale Greene and sister Betty A. Taylor.

Madeline leaves behind sons, James Greene (Linda), John Guy, Gary Guy (Alisha), and William Guy (Lisa), Vanness Saddler; daughter, Margaret Guy (Charles); brothers, William A. Greene (Kaye) and Paul D. Smith (Karen); Matt also had a special niece, Judith A. Blackman; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a large number of family and friends that loved her dearly.
