Lorraine Odessa Stewart, daughter of the late Benjamin and Rosetta Waters was born on March 28, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her life suddenly on Monday, September 14, 2020.
Lorraine was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She was one of three siblings. She joins her late sister Helen O’Neal and leaves behind a loving brother Benjamin Waters.
Lorraine received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She later received her diploma and multiple certifications in nursing as well.
Lorraine was a true giver she dedicated her life in the health care arena caring for others until she retired. Out of her many interests, she loved domestic arts and studying the word of God with family and friends. She was a social butterfly and was admired by many. While being a champion for her family she was also a servant of God; in whom she loved with all of her heart.
Lorraine will be highly missed but remembered as caring loving mother, neighbor, friend and confidant by those lives she touched.
Now she joins her late husband, Larry Stewart and they both leave behind a loving legacy of two daughters; Monica R. and Yvette D. Reed; one son, Oliver L. Reed Jr.; four grandchildren, Shakita R. Johnson, Tavon Brockington, Labron I. Wilson (Marisha) and Laquetta D. Murphy; seven great grandchildren, Desiree, Desmond, Da’Karae, De’ Mari, Destiny, Zariyah, Labron Jr., two sisters-in-law, Joann Waters, Grace Stewart; one brother-in-law, Carl Stewart and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousin, extend family and friends.
