She also enjoyed playing pinochle with family and friends, especially her close friend, Sharone Henderson.
Lori gave her life to Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Lori later joined Southern Baptist Church with her husband, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Higgs, where they both sang on the choir and she served on the Usher Board. They transitioned to New Psalmist Baptist Church, attending and completing discipleship classes. Lori ultimately joined Greater St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Elect Clinton S. Adam where she was the president of the Usher Board.
