LILLIAN E. GREEN, daughter of the late William Turner and Viola Hill, was born on March 14, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her life on March 25, 2021.
"Peaches or Diddy" as she was affectionately called and known by all, received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl.
she was raised by her Aunt Odessa with her cousin Darlene, who was more like a niece to her, who both proceeded her in death. At the age of 19, she met the late Ellsworth Sr. (Lou) who she married. From their union, she had 6 children, Charlene, Tanya, Ellsworth Jr, Derrick, Gerrard and Viola who proceeded her in death. Also, from their matrimony, she shared a special bond with her to brother-in-laws, Willard who proceeded her in death and Ellwood.
Peaches will always be remembered as a loving, caring woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. The epitome of strength. A fighter; never gave up or in. Fun; the life of any party. Sweet; yet Sassy. Known to tell it like it is and was always witty with her words. "The Neighborhood Mom". Not only did she raise her own children and grands; she raised many of the neighborhood children too. Diddy had this special aura about her, in which, everyone would gravitate to. She has graced and showered many people with her love. Opening her arms, home and kitchen to those in need. A ray of light that so many needed, even when her own light dimmed.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memory: her children, Charlene, Tanya, Ellsworth Jr., Derrick, Gerrard (Rodrigo) and Mickey, who she loved as her own; her grandchildren, Timothy (Andrea), Anthony, Leonard III, LaTasha, LaTanya (Jarmal), Nashay, Brittany (Sheldon), Lanea (Maurcus), Gregory Jr. Mia, Don and Derrick Jr; great grandchildren, Ty'Quille, Julius, Tyisean, Nadra, Devante, Timothy Jr., Cam'Ron, Nashawn, Rashard, Marlin, Ashia, A'najah, Jaylah, Kristen, Caron, Amira, Kamar, Zaniyah, Jaylon, Kaylon, Maurcus Jr., Braylen, Dallas, Mackenzie, Kaeson, Nassiah and Kimora; great-great grandchildren, Makai, Juelz, Mackenzie; brother-in-law Ellwood; and a host of other family and friends.
