Leon Corbitt, affectionately known as "Herman" was born September 30, 1945, to the late Betty Vaughn and Walter Vaughn.
Leon received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
He met and married the love of his life Gladys Corbitt in 2008.
Leon was employed at the Department of Public Works until he retired in 2011.
Leon enjoyed watching his favorite Football team play "Pittsburgh Steelers" He was a family man and loved the children. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Leon accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior in 2004 at Christian Temple Baptist Church. Later in 2022 he joined Greater St. John's Full Gospel Baptist Church Inc.
Leon was Preceded in death by his sister Regina Gross, brother Leo Corbitt, and mother-in-law, Fannie Turner.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories: his faithful and devoted wife Gladys Corbitt; his four children, Michelle Corbitt, Leon Corbitt (Ann), Otis Corbitt, and Kizzy Corbitt; eight grandchildren, Shakira, Kesharra, Mekhi, Leon, Leevia, Aniyia, Reshard and Rebecca; two great grandchildren: Darrelle and Dasion; five Sisters: Yvonne, Mildred, Shirley, Janita and Geraldine (James); one special sister In-law Sharon; and godson, Kevin. Also a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
