Latisha A. Moore was born January 18, 1979 to Felice Smith & Jessie Moore in Baltimore, MD.
She attended Baltimore City Public Schools from elementary to high school and later transferred to Job Core, where she picked up an electrician trade.
At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at New Antioch Baptist Church and later joined Shepherd Community Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member under her pastor, Rev. Andrew Ferges. She served faithfully as a member under the Youth and Young Adult Ministry where she loved to sing. She had a voice like no other, and would sing solo anytime the opportunity was presented. One of her favorite gospel songs was "Deliver Me" by Donald Lawrence and Le' Andria Johnson. She transitioned and was “delivered” from her fight with Cancer on June 8, 2021, in the arms of her mother , right where she wanted to be.
She was a dedicated employee of Garda World (formerly known as AT System) for 20 years, starting at the age of 22, where she started as an armored truck driver/armored guard. Due to her sickness, she was then transferred to the vault where she remained.
Latisha (also known as Tish or Tisha by many and Trinka by family) was a very laid back , easy going, soft , loving , peaceful person and had no tolerance for drama. She had a fetish for new cars, her big-face watches, her cologne collection and always had a sharp haircut. She always kept up with her appearance and was always rocking something from her favorite shoe collection. She was a family-oriented individual who enjoyed spending time and taking trips with her family. She loved to smile, laugh, joke, sing, talk smack to anyone if warranted and came with a serious mean mug. However, her spirit was something special that allowed her kindness and goodness to shine. To know her was to love her. Her relationship with Christ allowed her to see the good in people and she always projected love and peace. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the jazz music that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of : mother, (Felice Smith); father, (Jesse Moore); Her Pops (William Smith); brothers, (Oliver Pope, Donte Moore); sisters, (Juanita Moore-Scott, Janiea Andrulonis, Nicole Moore); grandmothers, (Felice Moore, Juanita Moore); children, ( Tyreeke Russell and Olajah Pope) who she adored the most; special friend ( Laurie Powell); best friend, (Sharnetta Jones), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Latisha will be forever thought of by those who knew and loved her best.
