LANCE EDWIN STEWART, SR. was born on July 22, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the Second child next to his oldest sister Lisa. Born to the late Russell and Lillie Stewart.
Lance as he was affectionately known, received his education in Baltimore City Public School, graduated from Patterson High School in 1995. Then attended Dundalk Community College in 1997-1998.
In his young adult life, he loved life he had the opportunity to go to many places, while in college he began working for Aramark, where he accumulated lots of friends who loved and adored his funny Antics and Jokes. He loved doing the World Views News Shows being behind the scenes with Ron Israel doing the Celebrity Interviews. He loved to watch WWE Wrestling as well as wrestling with his kids.
Between his childhood, neighborhood, work friends and family he was definitely considered the "LIFE OF THE PARTY" He loved playing pool even though he couldn't keep the " Q" ball on the table. He did drywalling, electricity and even worked on cars with his (Brothers) in Heart "Christopher Danouskt and Bruce Davis, he was cut short of doing the things he loved to do, due to an injury at work, which resulted in his inability to work again.
Lance was reared in the church and received the Lord Jesus Christ as His Savior early in life. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where he worshipped with his father, Russell.
Lance always cared for others more than he cared for himself. "One a kind" wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, listener, uncle. A magnet so strong due to his positive Charisma. But most of all "A father" in 2001 (LJ) was born, 2002 (Shay-Shay) 2003 (Henry), 2005 (Jeremiah), 2006 (Tye-Tye), 2007 (Tatyiana), his unity of love a father more than his kids could ask for, provider, confidante, advisor , a "Rock" to so many.
Lance was preceded death by his maternal, grandparents, James and Margaret Stewart, paternal daughter, Tatyiana Stewart and his parents Russell and Lillie Stewart, after a courageous battle of illness, God called him home to heaven on Sunday November 15, 2020 at 3:45pm. He is reunited in Paradise with his Guardian Angels.
Lance leaves to embrace his joyable memories, his six children Lance Stewart, Jr., Briana Knox, Shayiana Stewart, Henry Stewart, Dakarai Stewart, Tyiana Stewart, his siblings, Deneen Knox, Lisa Stewart; mon at heart Sylvia Stewart; aunts and uncles; Chris Stewart, Robert Stewart (Madie), W. Purnell Stewart (Karen), Doris Stewart, Sylvia Stewart Powell (Barry), George Stewart; niece and a host of nephews, cousin, friends and neighbors.
