Joan C. Mobley, daughter of the late Joseph HenryWalston and Lillie May Kerney, was born November 23, 1946 in
Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 7, 2020. She precedes in death her sister Jeannie, her brother Clark
(Bubbles), former spouse Roy Mobley, nephews Lil Dad and Hurt, and grandson Derain.
She received her education at Carver Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore. Joan retired from Mercy Medical
Center Transportation Department after 30 years of service. Joan was lovingly referred to as “Boobie”. She enjoyed
spending time with her two sons Terrance and Kevin. Boobie enjoyed taking vacations, shopping on QVC and lounging in
the Hideaway. She loved soulful music especially Anita Baker.
Boobie had numerous friends wherever she went. She will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. Boobie was
always a true friend. Joan valued her family above all. She was sure to speak life into her grandchildren and make them
laugh.
She leaves to mourn: one sister Donell, two sons, Terrance Mobley (Latasha Roles), Kevin Mobley (Missy Malone); special
nephew, Stephon Mathis; grandchildren, Terrance Mobley Jr.,Bobby Harper, Brittney Mobley, Ikia Mobley, Laila Mobley,
Khaivai Mobley, Khalia Mobley, Kevin Mobley Jr., Kareem Mobley, six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives
and friends.
