JACQUELINE ANN TUBMAN, daughter of the late Frank Tubman and Romaine Matthews, was born on April 25, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of November 21,2020, she departed this journey to eternal life after a short illness.
Jackie, as she was affectionately known, was born and raised in East Baltimore. She attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Eastern High School where she planned to pursue a career in Education. After graduation, Jackie realized that her true passion was helping to save lives so she went on to attend nursing school. Jackie became a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN; where she enjoyed a 40 year career in the nursing field with over 30 years of service spent with Genesis Healthcare. She was an active member of Israel Baptist Church for many years and served on the Outreach Ministry.
Jackie met the late David L. Faulkner and from this union, she had the love of her life, a son named David Earl Faulkner.
Jackie was a loving and lively person whose warm smile was infectious. She loved to sing, dance and spend time with her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She loved to decorate her Christmas tree and listen to Christmas Carols. Jackie's loving spirit was always felt by those who came in contact with her. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her, but her legacy of love will remain in our hearts forever.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her son, David E. Faulkner; a special nephew David Colson; two granddaughters, Kyanna Faulkner and Teyona Faulkner; and a host of relatives and dear friends.
