Jacqueline Holmes

Jacqueline Holmes, daughter of the late Leroy and Sarah Jordan, was born January 19, 1947 in Baltimore, MD. Jacqueline departed this life on September 14, 2018. 

     Her three siblings preceded her in death.  

    Her formal education was received in the Public Schools of Baltimore. She graduated from Frederick Douglass High School.

     She attended Holy Covenant Church and Faith Baptist with her Dad and Grandmother, “Big Mama”.

     Aunt Jackie never had any children of her own but always made her nieces and nephews feel special as if they were her children.

     One of Aunt Jackie’s favorite past times was spending time with Amber and her children, whom she lived with.  

     For many years she did domestic work at the University of MD Medical Systems.

     Aunt Jackie loved candy and watching old westerns.

     She leaves to cherish her memory Arnold Jordan, Jr. (Alice), Teresa Berry, Wendy Bennett (deceased) (Larry), Aaron Jordan, Sr. (Alisa), Kamau Jordan, Tomiko Wright, Kendra Jordan and Kareem Jordan, 15 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece and 1 great-great nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.
