Gregory, met and fell in love with Leslie Thompson at Central Garage where they both worked for most of their adult lives, and after a brief courtship they were married blending their families in love.
Gregory and Leslie made their home in East Baltimore. Gregory loved East Baltimore and where he grew up and developed lifelong friendships.
Gregory was a homebody. He loved to cook, especially barbequing in the summer. He loved preparing big family dinners, with Leslie at his side to assist in the kitchen.
Gregory enjoyed quality time with his grandchildren and his day was not complete until he read the newspaper from cover to cover. He looked forward to football on the weekends and was an avid all-around sports fan who loved his Ravens. While Gregory did not have a home church, he and Leslie always prayed together and discuss the Word of God.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Edith Cabean, his son Gregory Cabean II, and three brothers, Sherwood, Thomas & Robert. Gregory leaves to cherish in his memory his loving and devoted wife, Leslie Cabean; two sons, Ray and Terrell; one daughter, Serita; two brothers, Rodney and Ronald; three sisters, Patricia, Glenda and Edith; and a host of relatives and friends.
