Elizabeth Gloria Jackson was born on July 27, 1944 to the late Mary B. Madden and Theodore Jackson in Baltimore, Maryland. She was peacefully called home on January 9, 2020. Elizabeth received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1961. After graduating; Elizabeth went on to work for Mercy Medical Center and Baltimore City Public School Systems. She retired 40 years later from Baltimore City Public School System as a Cafeteria Aide.
Elizabeth had a great love for her family and friends. Family gatherings were something she always looked forward to. She enjoyed watching television. Her favorite TV shows were centered around criminal plots. Elizabeth loved dancing and listening to music especially, Marvin Gaye. Her favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers and she had no problem defending her team. Elizabeth met Roger the love of her life, in Baltimore, Maryland in 1971. Their love for one another blossomed over the years and they were inseparable. Roger preceded Elizabeth in death. In addition to her parents and Roger, Elizabeth was preceded in death by brother Jeremiah Jackson and grandson Andre Curry Jr.,
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory: Two children Pamela and Kendall Jackson; Six granddaughters Markia, Adera, Shatera, and Kendall Jackson, Brittany and Tara Ward; two Grandsons Timothy Jackson and Travis Ward; Five Great Grandchildren Neasia Goodman, Ari Jackson, Chase, Khloe, and Kaylee Ward; one stepmother Bessie Jackson; one stepsister Deborah Farmer; Two daughter-in-laws Lynette Jackson, and Annette Ward; two sister-in-laws Bernice curry and ruby ward; One grand-daughter-in-law Shannon Saunders; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
