On April 18, 1952, God blessed the late Ida Bell Roberson (Holley) and Johnny Roberson with a beautiful daughter name, Dylene Roberson.
Early in the morning on November 15, 2020, very quietly and peacefully God gently closed her eyes after a lengthy illness.
Dylene dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was baptizd at Zion Baptist Church. Although she didn't attend church on a regular basis, she loved to hear the Word of God spoken to her. If you talked about the Lord she would listen and often asked questions.
She received her formal education in the Baltimore City School System. She was employed by the Baltimore City Clarence Mitchell Court House for a short period of time. Then she started Bar tending which she enjoyed. She retired from the Baltimore City Department of Public Works, April 30, 2015.
She enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members. She also, enjoyed good music, dancing, watching movies and going for rides. She would always like to go for a ride and we would get to the destination, she would say..."Are we here already/", laughing.
Her legacy of Love lives on, in the lives of her three children: Rodney Roberson, RhondaChase-Smith and Roland Chase; one son-in-law; Percy Michael Smith; three grandchildren; Kenneth McNeil, Kennisha McNeil and Lacrisha Wilson; three great grandchildren, Kennedy McNeil, Kenneth McNeil Jr., and Kali Taylor; three sister, Yvonne Foster, Janice Gentry and Antoinette Roberson and a host of relatives and friends.
