DIANE MOBLEY was born on November 11, 1952, in Baltimore, MD. to the late Lucille M. Simpson & Robert Lee Simpson. She received her early education in the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Dunbar High School and receiving her degree at Community College of Baltimore. Diane was a very kind and giving woman, welcoming many different people into her life. Diane loved the Lord and at an early age, she accepted Christ into her life.
Diane did not have children of her own. She treated Tiffany & Lenny, John Bryant, Adam and Andrew as her own. They all thought of her as a second Mom.
Diane worked for Social Security Administration, where she made friends of a lifetime. She treated her co-workers like family. Her generosity was well known as she continued to send gifts to their children through adulthood for birthdays and Christmas. Diane retired from Social Security Administration and continued to enjoy her life.
In her spare time, you could find Diane attending R&B and Jazz concerts especially to see her favorite artist, Al Jarreau. She loved vacationing abroad throughout Europe and countless other cities. She loved shopping, going to the movies, having lunch with the girls and curling up with a good book.
On Friday March 10, 2023, after a lengthy illness, Diane was called home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her sister, Lutricia Madison.
Diane leaves to cherish her memory; devoted sister, Harriet Mobley; brothers, David Simpson and Larry Mobley; niece, Tiffany Bridgeforth; nephews Linwood Bridgeforth and John DeLilly; great nephews, Adam and Andrew Bridgeforth; great nieces, Peyton, Paige and Addison DeLilly and a host of other relatives and friends.
