DIANE ELIZABETH DIXON was born to the late Rozena and Standsberry Lee on May 27, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland. She transitioned into Glory on December 14, 2021.
She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Diane graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar Senior High School.
At an early age Diane accepted Jesus Christ into her life as her personal savior and became a member of Faith Baptist Church in Baltimore, Md.
Diane met the love of her life George B. Dixon (Tank) and they were joined in holy matrimony in 1976. From this union three beautiful children were born Bernard, Tiffany and Ebone.
Diane was employed by the Rite Aid Corporation for many years until she began working for Family Service Foundation, where she loved working for the deaf and blind. Diane was later employed by Guardia Security Company her health forced her to retire.
Diane loved kids and family so much she opened her home to everyone which gave her the name "Aunt Diane" to many extended nieces and nephews. Aunt Diane loved to have family dinners where she could show off her talent of cooking.
She had a talent in every category from sewing wedding and prom dresses to taking hundreds of family photos. She loved coordinating weddings, baby showers and all types of events with her best friend.
Planning family vacations, neighborhood trips and block parties during the summer was her thing. She loved spending time with her grandson Ji Breel. Aunt Diane loved to tell her stories of being a proud member of the New Edition Marching Band.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rozena and Standsberry, the love of her life George Dixon, son Bernard Dixon, brother Reginald Dixon and sister Mary Lee.
Diane leaves to cherish her memory her children Tiffany (Michelle), Ebone (Marvelle), Andrew, Darlene, Kiera, Sarah, 11 grandchildren, She Brea, Ji Breel, Sean, Andrew, Jahn, Khalil, Jaylon, Braylon, Ziyon, Aubrey and Desire; one brother, Standsberry Lee; 2 sisters, Geraldine and Lillian; 6 nieces, Shawanda, Teara, Rodnaya, Alexis, Jonae and Charnae; 6 nephews, Eugene, Andre', Robert, Jovan, Marcus and Joebrae; one godson, Cha'lar Walker; two goddaughters; Tyonna Washington and Katina Glover; best friends Paula Simpson, Penny Dunlap, Sharon Worsham, Deborah Washington and a host of other relatives and friends.
