DENNIS JAMES, was born January 1, 1957 to the late Essie Mae James-Vines and Charles James.He departed this life on February 20, 2020 after a brief illness. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools.
In 1984, Dennis married Rosalyn Servance and from that reunion two children were born, namely Arika James and Samantha Broyden. He also had a son, Juel James who preceded him in death.
He was also a member of the Reindeer Social Club.
Dennis was a hard and dedicated worker for Southern Steel for at least 20 years.
In 2007, he met his best friend in the life of Debra Bailey. They would talk on the phone for hours everyday and attended various affairs and trips.
During his younger years he used to love skating almost every weekend with his buddy Tony Bridges. Plus he was a music lover. Dennis played music on Saturdays at the John Samuel Tyson VFW Post 8509. He would also play at different affairs along with friend Wardell Lancaster. He was the type of person who was always willing to help anybody at any given time. Dennis will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Arika James and Samantha Brogden; two brothers, Paul James(Fredrika) and James Morris; two sisters, Lillian Bracey(Leroy) and Annette James; five granddaughters, Shakeria Breenden, ShaMkira Gilmore, Timiea Oaks, Rosalyn Dowell and Deliria Dowwell; two adopted daughters, Yoni Bailey and Davonya McGadden(Tweety); stepfather, Oscar Vines; three best friends, Tony Bridges, Wardell Lancaster and Debra Bailey and a host of nieces, nephews and family members.
