David King Jr. Obituary

DAVID LEROY KING jR., the son of David King Sr., and Linnette Madison, was born May 22, 1990, in Baltimore, Maryland. David "Dee Dave" entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2020. David received his education from Baltimore County Public School System, a graduate of Perry Hall High School and after graduation attended CCBC to further his studies. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. His loving parents taught him the importance of God and family, he knew the Lord. David worked full time as a Baltimore Gas & Electric Contractor and had a Rap Career.

In his free time, he also voluntarily worked to serve his community, he helped the homeless and the needy, had block parties for children and much more. He received recognition of appreciation from the Mayor of Baltimore City, for his service helping others. Davis's early life, he was indeed a mama's boy; he was the apple of his mother's eyes. He was her little King and that's what she called him "King" my boy, my son. Dee Dave was his father big David's main man; they spent quality father and son time and enjoyed each other company. He loved his sister Kiaya beyond measure, she was his Princess and he didn't play when it came to his baby sister. David enjoyed spending time with his brother Devin, especially going to Penn State to watch him play ball.

David's life was forever change when God blessed him with hie greatest gift, his son, Darrien Maurice King. David was an awesome Dad. He was always there for his son, loving him, teaching him to be a fine young man that he is growing up to be today. They had a special hand shake that they greeted each other with; they had such a precious bond. He also taught his son to rap, he had him perform in some of his many videos; Darrien even joined his Dad on stage. Darrien's favorite song by his father is 'Easy' may his father's love from above be forever 'Easy' for his young son. David loved doing things with the children and Brionca, like going to dinner and other family activities. Brionca was loved by David; she was his lady for sure. David was a pescatarian (he only ate fish, no meat) and he would always say "You can keep the swine", he was focused on health and keeping his body in shape. David's love of music started when he was very young, just free styling to a beat. Music became his life, love and passion.

David had the courage to be different and dared to be different with his vibes. His grind was consistent with his musical message, lyrics and the working of his craft. David was a gifted and talented artist of music, an up coming star, rapper and writer of songs. he spread his unique sound coast to coast, on Stage, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and other avenues. He had a unique sound and his words moved souls. Dee Dave's music appealed to many because it addresses the realities of living in a city blighted with crime and social rot. The music he created was bigger than him. He rapped about life and always kept it positive. He released an album "Real 4Eva." He was just an all around amazing person that graced this earth.

Darrien Maurice King. His earthly presence here has ended, but his music and memory will continue in the hearts of those whom he leaves to cherish him forever.
