Darryl E. Dorsey

Certified Nursing Assistant, CEO, Artist, Volunteer, Darryl E. Dorsey’s love of life and adventure didn’t come to an end with his death, Darryl departed this earthly realm on September 14, 2021, at the age of 59 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by allowing his memory to live on within their hearts and remembering to live their lives to the fullest.

Darryl received his early education within the Baltimore City School System, he later decided to further his journey by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and CEO of his own house cleaning service, Darryl’s Pride was in his ability to always help those who seem to be in need and to his art that gave him so much comfort each day.

He was the life of the party and the talk of the town, he was always there for everyone, a shelter for those who needed him. He loved to cook, clean, and sew, Darryl was always trying to set new fashion trends and was always able to bring a smile when needed. He lived his life just the way he wanted to and was very independent in how he lived while trying to make a way for himself and others. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Whatever problems he came upon, Darryl always seemed to work them out on his own and would not tolerate interference if he did not need your help.

Our Beloved Darryl is survived by his mother and stepfather, JoAnne and John Brown; (father, James Dorsey who preceded him in death); daughter, Sophia; godson, Maurice; (grandparents, James, Alice, William, Eunice who all preceded him in death); brothers, Dwayne, James, Timothy, Quonta; sisters, Belinda, Yvette, Wanda, Angela, Roxanne, Jennifer; a host of nieces, (giving a special recognition to Alishiea, Tyler and Jamie who took care of him during his illness);nephews, uncles and aunts (some preceding him in death); cousins and friends. He also had a special place in his heart for Carrol and Carter AKA Fat Fat.
