Bobby Manley Obituary

BOBBY MANLEY, was born December 24, 1950 to the late Cofield Manley Sr., Geneva Davis Manley and Jerry Columbus Harper. Rapidly succumbing to the complication of an illness he departed his life on January 17, 2019.

Bobby received his education through the Halifax County Public School System in North Carolina and later relocated to Baltimore Maryland. He devoted many years of service to Baltimore City Department of Public works.

Bobby was known to the ones that loved him most as “ Bob”, Short Dog”,“Fat Bob”, “OG Bobby Johnson”, and the best one of them all “Pop-Pop”. He will forever be heard singing his favorite songs “ You Are” by Charlie Wilson and “You Should Be Mine” by Jeffery Osbourne. He loved traveling back and forth to North Carolina and New York to be with his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his son Raynard Benjamin, his daughter Rochelle Manley, two great grandchildren Kenneth and Kira Baker, his sisters Deloris Davis, Rose Manley, Gale Salters, and Lizzy Spinney, his brothers Albert Manley, Altonia Manley, Andra Manley, Asa Brinkley, and Elton Brinkley and also a special friend Larry Maxwell.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Wanda Manley, daughter Keicha Lipscomb(Eric)two step daughters Patrice Tyler and Kimberly Blackwell, one step son Darrell Wiggins(Jotrice), Eight grandchildren Kevron, Keon, Kevin, Kurtis, Raynard Jr, Rayne, Jaleel, and Tanera, Three great grandchildren Kevin Jr, Kali, and Khloe Baker, Six Brothers Cofield Manley Jr., Savior Wright(Porsche), Stanley Manley, Johnel Manley, Christopher Manley, and Jeffery Harper, Four sisters Melinda Caudle (Lee), Claudette Manley, Brenda Moore(Darryl), Angela Harper Manley One daughter-in-law Kisha Benjamin, Three sister-in-laws Jackie Chester, Roselyn Carroll, and Renee Greene, Two aunts Corine Ashe, and Berline Johnson, Two special friends Luther Wilkins, and Wayne Carroll(Alveeta)and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
