Anthony L. Holmes Sr. was born on December 29, 1959 to the late Shirley E. Holmes and Robert Turner. Anthony gained his wings September 3 , 2022
Anthony was born and raised in East Baltimore and attended Baltimore City Public Schools. He obtained his G.E.D.
Anthony held several jobs during his life as a prep cook at restaurants Downtown and he worked at Commercial Laundry Corporation. He was also a practicing Sunni Muslim. He always took time to pray no matter where he was. Anthony was known by others as “ Big Antmoe“ or Moe. Antmoe enjoyed playing sports; he was simply a superstar on the basketball court in his younger days. He also played baseball and liked to swim. Antmoe loved to shop, he took pride in his appearance making sure he was neat and clothes matching from head to toe. He was the life of the party always joking and laughing, he wasn’t a slouch on the dance floor either. He also enjoyed watching movies and playing video games with the kids and eating good food .
In 2010 Anthony was united in Holy Matrimony to Juanita and out of that union they had a son Montey. He was very proud on his wedding day .
Anthony was preceded in death by his mom Shirley E. Holmes; his father, Robert Turner; son, Anthony Holmes Jr.; brothers, Keith Bey and Mattew Allen Jr. ( Man ) and sister Tracey E. Allen .
Antmoe leaves to cherish his memories his wife Juanita; his children Katrina, Lil Antmoe, Moeniasha, Antonio and Montey; four stepchildren, Adrian, Cameron, Marcus and Jawan; four sisters; Darlene, Harriet, Renee and Maxine; brother, Michael; his mother in-law; Francine Curbeam, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Peggy, Sonny, Russell and Peaches . Anthony will be missed by his family and friends.
