On Monday, September 20, 2021, Anthony L. Dantzler was summoned home unexpectedly to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He called down to his son to let him know his mansion was ready and prepared. United and surrounded by loved ones, Anthony was greeted with open arms.
Anthony entered this world on May 07, 1971 from the union of the late Catherine and Charles Dantzler, Sr., in Baltimore, MD.
Anthony was baptized at an early age. He was a member of Highway Christian Church and later a member of Halleujah Baptist Church, where he attended with his mother, stepfather and siblings.
Tony worked several jobs as a mover and most recently was employed as a security officer. But the job he took most serious was "Coach". Anywhere he worked, he was loved and appreciated, with his contagious smile and willingness to do bring joy to everyone. We know he will be truly missed.
Tony was a family man. His love for his entire family was like no other. He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and overall friend to EVERYONE! He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold that touched so many lives and will be truly missed. Tony would have the entire family laughing because he knew how to put on a show, lighting up the room with his presence and BIG sense of humor. As usual, he would take over the dance floor with his slick dance moves, yelling out his own name "TONY D" to let everyone know he was in the building. Each time with him was PRICELESS! Tony showed how special of a person he was by calling everyone at 12:01am to tell them "Happy Birthday!" He even had a special saying for each time he got off the phone. "You be good now and take care got dammit, ya hear, PEACEEEEEE!!!
Anthony's life will forever be cherished in the lives of: his 4 children, Quantez, Ciera, Anthony and LaQuaya; 2 grand-daughters, Jazmin-Booker-Dantzler, and Nahla Ellison; 2 sisters, Lorraine Dantzler (Jasper), and Charlene Lasane (Rob); 3 brothers, Darnell Dantzler (Josie), Darryl Dantzler and Terrell Dantzler (Denika); favorite cousin, Tracy; favorite niece and nephew, Shanell Pryor and Kevin Pinkney; a very special lady in his life, Charlene Lambert; a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
