William Cook-Bey

WILLIAM COOK-BEY was born as "William Clyde Cook Jr." on March 28, 1961, to Alice Cook and William Cool Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. "Cook" died quietly in his sleep of natural causes on June 17, 2022, where he transitioned from his earthly vessel to his spiritual body.

"Cook" was raised on the East Side of Baltimore City with both his maternal and adoptive family after the passing of his mother. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Dunbar High School. He also took some college courses at Morgan State University. While pursuing his degree, he obtained his CDL's and became an owner-operator truck carrier. He's been partnered with Schneider National Carrier since 2015.

"Cook" also known as "Boo-Boo" enjoyed working, reading, and dividing his quality time among his family and friends. He loved "Capturing" memorable moments while out doing things such as eating crabs, karaoke, partying at local lounges and attending special functions such as birthday parties, holidays and graduations with his family and friends.

He was a classic man who loved a glass of 1738 with a cigar while watching "The Godfather"!

Cook proclaimed his nationality and birthright in the Moorish Science Temple of America as Moorish American and accepted his brotherhood in the Islam faith. During this time, he met Minister Melvin Levin-Bey and they were brothers by faith until his passing.

William Cook-Bey was preceded in death by his mother Alice Cook, his maternal sister Earlene, nephew, adoptive parents Marie and Alfred Taylor and adoptive brothers Alfred, Richard, Michael, Francell and Robert.

"Cook" leaves his children to cherish his memories: Samuel Rosber, Demetris Cook, Keyona Hawkins, Leaura Banks and Ida Rosber; son-in-law, Kevin Hawkins; sisters, Thomasina and  Maria Taylor; brother-in-law, Melvin; ten grandchildren, Detric Mccoy, Desmond and Morgan Banks, Kamari and Alaijah Cook, Tishia, Tiyarna, Tyshawn, Tytiana and Tyler Brown; two great-granddaughters, Dahniya and Laylin McCoy; cousins, Tony, Shirley and Annette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
