Warren Winfred Brown was born October 19, 1943, to the late Minnie Brown who preceded him in death. He departed his life on February 23, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
Warren Brown was educated in Baltimore City public schools.
He accepted Christ at an early age and he was baptized at Zion Baptist Church. Later in life, he became a charter member at Prince of Peace Baptist church in Baltimore, Maryland, under Pastor Moses Williams. He was a dedicated member of the Usher Board and participated in all other activities in the church. Warren took pride in keeping the church and the surrounding community clean. He attended church faithfully until his health declined.
Warren was fond of music. He enjoyed listening to his vinyl records and attending live music concerts. His love for music made him do a two-step whenever he heard music playing. During his idle time enjoyed watching westerns, soap operas, wrestling, and boxing on television.
Warren was a loving family member who gave unselfishly to his family. He would babysit nieces, nephews, and cousins. He would hold every baby and sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to them until they fell asleep. He had a passion for cooking. His pancakes and cornbread were legendary. He would cook pancakes on Saturday morning and his nieces and nephews waited patiently for him to cook them and devour them.
He had two brothers James and Guy Brown who preceded him in death.
Warren Brown leaves behind his three sisters Sheila, Ellen, and Annie Brown; five nieces Darlene (Kenneth), Stephanie, Channel, Latarsha, and Staci (Sonya); three nephews Charles (Tamarra), Vincent, and James Brown, and a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
