Walter William Crosby was born on October 15, 1937. He went to the Lord on January 25, 2022. He was born to the late Emma Crosby Horsey. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mrs. Louella Jamison Crosby, daughter Ella Crosby-Graves and sisters Ruth Crosby, Anna Horsey, two nephews, Robert Crosby, William Crosby, and one niece, Barbara Crosby. He was reared by the late Beatrice Reed. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked at Saint Agnes Hospital and later became a Government Employee at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD as a Publication Aide, where he retired after 30 years of service.

He always loved to sing Temptations songs, watch Western television programs and sports. His thunderous vocal range was between tenor and bass. He commanded any room with his melodies and stage presence. His favorite saying was “Trials and Tribulations; Life is what you make of it… WHOO!” His wisdom will live on through his legacy, which was to work hard, preserve family bonds, encourage, and inspire others.

He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted daughter, Gladys C. Jones (Kenneth Jones); daughter Pamela Mcbride, three sisters, Dorothy Crosby Butler, Rosetta Horsey, Marie Horsey; two brothers, James Horsey, Solomon Horsey; seven grandchildren, Kevin L. Wilson, Sr., Jacqueline Roberts, Tessha Parran, Frank Hardin Jr.,Dion McBride, Dominique Clark, Damell Clark; great grandchildren, Carlos S. Smith, Raisha Timmons,Unique Wilson, Dennis Haley, Jr. Kiarra Wilson, Kevin Wilson Jr. Katiera Wilson, Raiyon Parker; six great-great grandchildren; Amiya Maranda, Kaylee Frazier, Khalil Frazier, Kamari Hawkins, Naseem Hawkins Jr., Lyric Hardin; one aunt, Hazel Lang; four nieces, Laurie Lang, Leslie Jones, Kearn Crosby, Carolyn Crosby; three special helpers Sharon W. Sweets, Delma W. Thomas, Holly Fowler; close friend Mrs. Mattie M. McCray of 63 years; close friends Wallace Jones, Deborah Franklin, Lara Powell, the late Crystal Franklin, and a host of close friends and relatives.
