VONDA N BEST, born to the late Audrey Best and John Taylor, on September 4, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on February 16, 2023, after a period of declining health, with her loving family by her side.
Ms. Vonda was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She lived life on her own terms and was a feisty strong-willed woman. She was an intelligent woman who was often the life of the party, and she spoke her mind. Her employment spanned various companies such as Camco performing administrative duties, working at NASA completing micro filming, and the Hyatt Regency downtown Baltimore.
Ms. Vonda enjoyed cooking, styling hair, listening and dancing to music such as oldies but goodies. She was a very outgoing person who loved to laugh and whom herself was hilarious! She enjoyed hanging out with friends and a good game of spades. During the time of her assisted care, you would normally find her glued to the television or tablet watching her favorite shows. On beautiful days, you would also find her outside and socializing with friends.
Ms. Vonda is preceded in death by her son, Damien Best.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Best-Gray (Mark), Arielle Bradford (Marcus), Asia Freeman; Son, Stanford Stansbury Jr. as well as 10 awesome grandchildren. Her loving and supportive sisters Denise Best, Darlene Best, Germaine Best-Graham, and Sonya Best-Haggler, and a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
