Viola S. Brown was born to the late Viola Rhodes-Brooks and James Betts on July 24, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on November 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness.

Viola received her education and worked in the Baltimore City Public School system. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved church, gospel music, and prayer but most of all she loved to see people happy. Everyone who encountered her absolutely loved her and left with a smile on,their face and a story to tell. She loved to make people laugh with her dancing and singing.

Viola leaves to mourn her two children Matthew Rhodes and Armentia Boyd, seven grandchildren; Chantell, Jazmine, Matthew, Mattasia, Markell, Amauri and Karizma, four great grandchildren; Micah, Kamari, Sage, Harmoni and one angel Amari. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her lifetime partner and love Mr. Walter Cephas, a very close friend Ms. Sheila Ward along with a host of other relatives and friends.
