On Thursday, October 10, 2024, Tyrone Cloude departed this life peacefully as God called him home. Tyrone, affectionately known as “Tidy Moe”, was born on September 9, 1952, to the late Shirley Mae and Robert Lee Cloude. He was the fourth of eight children. Albert, Joann “Annie”, Darnell “Yank”, and Viola “Stink” preceded him to glory.
Tyrone was a loving father to four boys, Damien, who preceded him in death, Daryl, Tatum, Marquis.
Many years ago, he met the love of his life, Brenda D. Cooley. In 2011, Brenda and Tyrone were joined together in holy matrimony and from this union, he gained two daughters, Tia and Chania.
He grew up in East Baltimore, and received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
He worked for the Baltimore City Housing Authority and had various other jobs.
Tyrone joined the Old Landmark Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend George Cockrell, during the 1980s. He knew, loved, and had a relationship with the Lord. He was a dedicated member who served on the Usher Board, Male Chorus and Pastor’s Aide. He was very fond of his church family. He often spoke of his sister-in-Christ, Abbie. During the summer months, he would travel to Virginia to fellowship with his church family and aid them in any way needed.
Tyrone was the jack of all trades. He was very crafty with his hands and enjoyed home improvement. You could depend on him to fix anything. Tyrone loved music and dancing. For many years he had his own social club on Broadway called “The Boom Boom Room.” He enjoyed concerts and was a very sharp dresser. You would often see him in a stylish suit and hat.
Tyrone was a true lover of his family, young and old, and an all-around people’s person. Tyrone traveled to D.C. often to visit his friends. Just as Tyrone showed his love to everyone, he was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be forever missed.
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memories: wife Brenda D. Cooley-Cloude; sons, Daryl, Tatum and Marquis; daughters, Tia Cooley( Gregg) and Chania Cooley; grandchildren, Tatum Jr., Tiona, Tyleah, Tristian, Tamar, Boss, My‘KKo Austin, Chloe, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Daonna, Dayon, Terrell, and Anitra; sister, Sheila Simms; brothers, Larry “Mick” and Frederick “Eric”; six special friends, Rick, Vines, Mike from DC and David , Steve Irvin and Reginald Baylor from Baltimore; and a host of family and friend
