TRENIE LAMELLE BRICE, the beloved son of the late David Johnson, Sr. and Daisy V. Brice-Jackson and cherished brother of Clarence, Juan, the late Vickie Jackson, Wendy Johnson and the late David Johnson, Jr. and Brian Smith was born on February 3, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was called home on January 17, 2023.
Trenie, also known as "Trenie Mo-Pad', received his education through the Baltimore City Public Schools System. He would go on to continue his education at Coppin University, formerly Coppin State College, where he earned his Associate of Arts Degree. Later, Trenie also earned his commercial driver license (CDL) and worked for Yellow Transportation for several years until he became ill.
Trenie was known and loved by many. Those who were close to him knew he was a true friend that would be there whenever called upon. In his younger days, Trenie loved hanging with his close friends, wearing the coolest clothes, and most of all, spending time with his family. His favorite pastimes were watching TV, eating candy (especially, banana now-n-laters), telling jokes to anyone who would listen, and talking on the phone to anyone who would pick up.
Trenie was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Jackson and two brothers, David Johnson and Brian Smith.
Trenie leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rhonda Brice; three children, Karess, Trenie, Jr. and Rashad; two stepchildren, Adaisa and Kabrea; six grandchildren, Deluan, Julliam, True, Lashaun, Kylan and Maluan; two brothers, Clarence Jackson (Adriane) and Juan (aka Trike) Jackson; sister, Wendy Johnson; nephew, Malik Jackson (Judy); his brother from another mother, James Fisher (aka Bam); and a host of other relatives and friends.
