THELMA DELORES PRIESTER was born on October 29, 1940 to the late Madeline Pratt and Henry Priester in Baltimore, Md. She departed this life peacefully on December 22, 2024.

She received her education through Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. Upon graduation Thelma began working at Church Home Hospital as a Dietary Aide for several years. She later became known as the "Cod Fish and Sticky Apple Lady". People loved them that much.

Thelma had such a sweet and genuine soul. Everyone fell in love with her and her squeaky voice. To know her was to love her. Thelma loved to help others. She made it her business to be kind and helpful to everyone she came in contact with.

In her early years Thelma enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending quality time with her family and longtime friend Irene. Thelma will truly be missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memory 8 siblings (Joyce Pratt, James Pratt, William Pratt, John Pratt); preceded in death (Robert Priester, Leroy Priester, Richard Priester and Bernard Pratt), 3 sons (Michael (Tara) Priester, Edward Priester, Gerald Priester), 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews; preceded in death (Derrick Dargan), family and special friends.
