Terrod Lamar Swann affectionately known as Terra Lamar Swann peacefully departed this life on August 7, 2025. He was born on April 21, 1983, to Myra Swann and Eddie Branch.
Terrod received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Faith Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Terrod became a member of Memorial Baptist Church where he was a part of various ministries to include serving as an usher.
During his primary years, Terrod attended St. James & John Catholic School and St. Alphonsus Catholic Schools. His high school journey began at The School for the Performing Arts before he transferred to Mergenthaler High School where he remained until graduation. Upon graduating from high school, Terrod a ended Baltimore City Community College where he studied Fashion Design and Tailoring and where he also hosted some of their Fashion Shows.
Terrod AKA Terra worked as a sales associate for Shoe City where he was given the additional responsibility to style the display mannequins because of his creative talents. He was also a Desk Attendant at e Merritt Athletic Club. Terrod hosted and created several fashion shows to include the following: The Swann’s Haute Hons, and The Wild Side “A Fashion Jungle”, with Julia Swinson. He was a true Artist often displaying his work on Canvas and Molds. Prior to his passing he was currently employed by Baltimore City Community College where he was an assistant for the Sewing and Design Department. Terrod loved all things fashion, design, illustration and production.
Terrod AKA Terra had a gift for bringing laughter and warmth into every space he entered. Whether through his creativity, listening to music, voguing, or simply his ability to listen to those who were often forgotten about without judgment, he left a mark that will never be forgotten. Terrod AKA Terra spirit reflected resilience, love, and the beauty of living unapologetically as oneself.
He was preceded in death by his father Eddie Branch; Maternal grandparents, Gertie M. Swann & Rudolph B. Price; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Pauline & Charles Wright; uncles Reginald Price & Eric Swann; aunts Deborah Swann and Theresa Watts.
He is survived by his mother Myra Swann (Ahmad); aunts, Donna Swann, Patricia Brown & Josephine (Shinka) Branch and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Though his time with us was far too short, his legacy of love, courage, and authenticity will continue to shine brightly through all who knew him.
