Tanga R Lucas

TANGA REGINA LUCAS, was born in Baltimore Maryland on August 10th, 1972 to Rosly Duckett. On June 14, 2025 at the age of 52 surrounded by her mother, daughter, son and a few of her close friends Tanga went home to be with the lord. With her dry sense of humor Tanga was a loving person.

Tanga received her education from Baltimore City Public Schools. She worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital combined with Johns Hopkins Bayview for 30 years and was very dedicated to her job.

At a young age Tanga loved interpretive dance where she performed at area school and once at the Hippodrome Theater. Also, Tanga was very artistic, in her spare time she enjoyed putting puzzle pieces together and loved solving sudoku puzzles. She loved to color. She also liked watching old TV shows and listening to old school music.

Tanga was an introvert but, loved eating crabs with family and friends. She loved her crabs. Tanga was a very caring person and was always there when and if you needed her. Tanga loved her family.

She leaves to mourn: Roslyn Duckett (mother); Jarrod Lucas (brother) 2 children, Kwante (Tae) Stokes (son) and Birchelle  McRae (daughter); 5 grandchildren- Kayla, Aubree, Maddison, Noah and Kylie; 3 aunts-Denise, Tammy and Chanlier; 2 uncles- Dennis and Norman (Lova). She was preceded in death by her Lawrence Berryman (father), Arletta Lucas (daughter) Barbara Jones (grandmother0 2 aunts Sherry and Serrita Wooten and Myron Wooten (uncle).
