Listen to Obituary

TAMIKA DAWN LITTLE was born on February 8, 1975 to Theresa Smithwick and Andre Little. On Wednesday, morning  July 27, 2022, God called out to Tamika and said “come to me my child. I have a prepared place for you to get your sweet rest.”

Tamika received her education through the Baltimore City Public School System. While attending Claremont School her class was selected to be a part of the movie “Major League II,” which was filmed in Oriole Park at Camden Yard.

Tamika was employed by Chimes. Tamika often spoke of her co-workers with great fondness and considered them as extended family. Tamika was introduced to New Life Evangelical Baptist Church by worshiper Barbara Griffin more than 10 years ago. Tamika’s love and willingness to help others was one of the things her church members admired most about her.

With love, guidance and support from her dad Avery, Tamika matured into a charming, productive, and flourishing adult.

Tamika enjoyed going to Atlantic City with her mother, going to the inner harbor and making necklaces and bracelets. She had a smile that could melt the hardest of hearts.

Tamika was blessed with one son, Floyd Andre Johnson, whom she loved endlessly. She loved her family and had a special bond and closeness with her aunts Gracie and Thelma. She was so  grateful for the care and love that they provided to her during her battle with cancer.

Tamiko, Tammy, Baby Girl, Bubbles, Meek-Meek, Meko whichever name she was known by, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Tamika was met in Heaven by Andre, Avery, her grandparents, and others who now can enjoy her smile.

Tamika leaves to cherish her loving memories; her mom: Theresa Bentley; son: Floyd Andre Johnson; husband: Floyd Johnson; sister: Cierra Little, fiancé: Robert Traylor; one sister in-law: Sonja Johnson-McDavid; five aunts: Polla Bagwell, Gracie Carr, Bernice Moore, Jacqueline Williams and Thelma Winn; two uncles: Michael Bentley (Debbie) and Steven Bentley (Cynthia); 20 LOVE aunts; 10 LOVE uncles; 1 special LOVE grandmother, Mary Smith; her church family at New Life Evangelical Baptist Church and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
