Sylvia C. Patterson

On Saturday, November 11, 2016 SYLVIA CATHERINE PATTERSON (Nee Millings) answered the call to come home peacefully to be with the Lord. Sylvia affectionately known as Kitty, was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Faydonia Millings who preceded her in death.

Kitty attended and graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools. She accepted Christ and was baptized at a young age at New Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joseph Culp.

She met and married the love of her life Henry Jasper Patterson, Jr. from this union they had four sons. Henry J. Patterson III, David J. Patterson, Antonio J. Patterson and Jeremy J. Patterson.

Kitty worked numerous jobs including a Teacher's Assistant for Baltimore City Schools. Upon her retirement she worked fulltime for herself doing what she loved the most- crafting. She loved knitting, crocheting, making floral arrangements and jewelry.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Henry Jasper Patterson Jr. her four sons, Henry III (wife princess), David, Antonio & Jeremy; six grandchildren Henry IV, David Jr., Skylar, Prince, Bryce and Monae; three sisters, Dorothy Lewis (Jerome), Lettie Thomas and Nannie Millings; two brothers, Isaiah Millings (Lisa) and Flemon Millings; her other children Jack, Christine, Jeff, Samantha, Morgan and Shantel; nieces Faydonia, Italia, Cresta and Ayonna; nephews, Jerry Sr. and Isaiah II; close cousins, Ulysses (Meanbo), Roxsanne, Karen, Michelle and a host of cousins and friends.
