Susie M. Botts

SUSIE MAYDEN BOTTS, was born November 29, 1950 to Gertrude Howard and Allen Mayden, of Baltimore, Maryland. She was the first child of three, a sister, Vanessa Thorpe(who proceded in her passing) and her brother Dallas Thompson.

Susie departed this life on May 13, 2016 after a prolonged battle of numerous illnesses.

Most of her life was dedicated being a care giver to her sister, Vanessa, after her parents died. She married Robby Edwards and later married her forever soulmate Melvin Ray Botts. From these unions she mothered three children, Julia Mayden, Beatrice Mayden and Glenn Mayden(deceased).

Susie loved music, dancing and partying. She and her husband would often entertain friends and family, having get-togethers, cookouts and or just listening to music reminiscing. She loved people and children(especially). She will be surely missed.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her beloved husband, Melvin Botts; her brother, Dallas Thompson; mother-in-law, Amelia McDaniel; her cousin, Khalil Adolemaiu-Bey, daughters, Beatrice Allen and Julia Mayden; son-in-law, Maurice Allen; grandchildren, A'Kiesha Haynes, Erin Jones, T'Ykierra Thompson, T'yonna Thompson, E'mijae' Dower; sisters-in-law, Debbie Williams, Ruth Jordan-El, Delores McCall, brothers-in-law, George Botts, Daniel Botts and the late Kenny Smith; very special loved one Darlene Adolemaiu-Bey; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
