Stephen D. Fields

STEPHEN DWAYNE FIELDS, age 62 of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on August 10, 2025.

Stephen was born on March 13, 1963 and was raised in the Valley on the 1200 block of North Decker Avenue. A proud graduate of Patterson High School, Stephen remained deeply rooted in his hometown and the people who shaped him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mattie Fields and Julius Fields, his two older sisters, Georgia Bachus and Robin Darlene Denise Fields, and his brother Calvin Bachus.

Stephen leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters: Kiona Fields, LaShawn Fields and Anjelica Fields; his devoted partner, Kimberly Phillips; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Ann Mirenda "Rinnie" Fields and Maria "Peaches" C. Burks aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces, nephews and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Stephen was funny, adventurous and loving someone who never met a stranger. He had a gift for making people laugh and a heart big enough to help anyone in need. He was a loyal friend, a devoted family man and someone who truly lived and loved fully.
